- 中文摘要: 在醫學診斷中,X光電腦斷層攝影術為一種較新的工具。然而X光會對人體組織產生游離輻射的效應而不適於應用到長期追綜之病例,其他不同的方式其顯像效果亦有所不同。以脈波式微波所產生的熱彈波(Pulsed Microwave-inducedThermoelastic Waves)亦被嘗試來作醫學影像的工具,而且深信它具有非破壞性及偵測人體特有參數的效果。原設計之熱彈波電腦斷層攝影系統,由於該系統未趨理想,目前美國伊利諾大學醫學工程系正在做系統硬體上的改進,而我們主要是做軟體的改進,主要分為兩部份:1.考慮將放射光源改成多點式(Cone Beam Radiation)光源,2.考慮繞射及折射於重建影像中。在實驗的過程中,首先將利用電腦模擬的資料來測試演算法的正確性,而後再將原系統所產生的九組資料來進行影像重建,並經實驗結果證實的確可改進其影像重建效果。
- 英文摘要: Because of the ionizing radiation effect, x-ray tomography is not suitable for long-term follow-upor monitoring situations. Different emanation sources of CT lead to different biologic parameters measured.Each of these methods has its own set of potentials and limitations. A pulsed microwave-induced thermoe-lastic wave, which is nonionizing and can detect appropriate tissue parameters, was reported to be usefulas a new modality in the CT system. Some limitations and drawbacks have been found in this system. Theobjective of this study was the improvement of this system, especially in software design. Two algorithmsare proposed in this study: (1) modification of the reconstruction algorithm by a rebinning method, and(2) modification of the reconstruction algorithm by diffraction and refraction effects based on the waveequation. Series data generated from a computer simulation were used to test the performance of thosealgorithms. Later, nine experimental sets of data obtained from the prototype image system were used toreconstruct the images. The results show that the performance of both algorithms is better than that ofthe original algorithm in the quality of reconstructed images.
