- 英文摘要: One of the major factors which cause oil well abandonment in the petroleum industry is inadequate perforations, including incorrect sizes, number, or penetration radius and depth. An effective method, therefore, is needed for the evaluation of perforators. In this study, we extracted a basic empirical correlation which allows easy comparison of model calculations against experimental data. We demonstrated that the effectiveness of different perforators can be characterized by a simple empirical measurement. Moreover, using cake filtration theory, we are able to derive the observed dependency between the production rate and the filtration time (the period after perforation when there is an over-balance of oil pressure over formation pressure). In fact, the final correlation relates the final production rate to all perforation conditions and is ideal for the optimization of the field perforation processes.
