海拔高度對台灣一葉蘭生長及碳水化合物含量之影響

臺灣一葉蘭為落葉性高山蘭科球根花卉。自春天母球抽芽、開花至秋末子球成熟、母球衰老,分析母球、子球、葉之乾重,澱粉、酒精可溶性糖含量變化,並解剖觀察芽體的發育。一葉蘭花萎凋後葉迅速展開,至花萎凋後 40 天達最大葉面積及乾物重,子球快速肥大所需養分主要來自葉光合產物。在臺北、霧社及梅峰三海拔高度裁培一葉蘭,其葉面積隨海拔高度的增加而減小,而海拔 2100m 梅峰冷涼山區所結之球較海拔 1200m 之霧社及平地臺北為重,其澱粉含量亦較高,芽體的花芽分化亦以梅峰最好。文中並討論氣溫及山區微氣候對一葉蘭生長發育之影響。

Pleione formosana Hayata is an alpineorchid which has annually replaced corms andsingle decidous leaves. In the life span ofPleione formosana, dry weight and carbohy-drate content of mother corms, daughter cormsand leaves were analyzed, and differentiationof flower buds were examined under micros-cope. Growth of daughter corms was supportedby photosynthetic assimilates from leaves,which became fully expaned about 40 daysafter flower senescence. Dry weight andstarch content of daughter corms grown athigh altitudes of Mei-Feng (2100 m) weregreater than corms grown at Wu-Shah (1200m) and at Taipei (50 m), although the sizeof leaves was smaller than that in Wu-Shahand in Taipei. Flower abortion occurred incorms grown in Taipei and flower blastinghappened in the corms grown in Wu-Shah,whereas the flower buds of corms grown inMei-Feng were well differentiated. The effectsof temperature and microclimate of moun-taneous area on the growth and developmentof Pleione formosana were discussed.
