本實驗的目的,在於了解養鰻飼料中褐魚粉取代白魚粉之可行性。以白魚粉配成的鰻魚飼料
(Ⅰ),其?(口?) 含量較低,油脂的碘價較高,酸價較低,必須胺基酸指數較高,即品質較佳。以此
飼料飼育鰻魚的結果,發現其飼料效率、蛋白質效率,以及鰻魚的成長速度較高,即其對鰻魚的
養殖效果,較?(口?)含量較高、油脂碘價較低、酸價較高、必需氨基酸指數較低的臺灣褐魚粉配合
飼料(Ⅱ)為優。而臺灣褐魚粉配合飼料對鰻魚的養殖效果,又較?(口?)含量最高、油脂碘價最低
、酸價最高,必須氨基酸指數最低的智利褐魚粉配合飼料(Ⅲ)為優。在臺灣及智利褐魚粉中添
加等量的白魚粉所配成的臺灣褐、白魚粉配合飼料(Ⅳ),或智利褐、白魚粉配合飼料(Ⅴ),則
可顯著的增進褐魚粉對鰻魚的養殖效率。
在為期84天的飼育期間,鰻魚均無死亡事故發生,各試驗區的鰻魚均很健康,攝食力旺盛
。又褐魚粉配合飼料對鰻魚的養殖效果雖然較差,但在良好的飼育環境之下,褐魚粉足可取代白
魚粉作為飼料配合之用。T - 英文摘要: In order to study the feasibility of usingbrown fish meal to replace white fish meal ineel feeds, five diets were used in eel feedingexperiments. Duing and after the feeding experiments,it was found that fed with white fish mealshowed higher growth rate than the other lotsfed with brown fish meal. Taiwanese brownfish meal showed higher growth rate thanChilian brown fish meal. Addition of whitefish meal into brown fish meal, caused an in-crease in growth rate when compared withTaiwanese or Chilian brown fish meals. The efficiency of the diets was affected bythe indole content, the iodine value and acidvalue of lipid in diet. Particularly, a significantcorrelation was observed among those diets,because the growth rates of eel were propor-tional to essential amino acid index of thefeeding diets. Based on the results, although the brownfish meal gave lower growth rate than thewhite fish meal, but the feasibility of usingbrown fish meal in place of white fish mealwas demonstrated, since feeding eel with brownfish meal was not only to maintain the life butalso to promote the normal growth of eel.
