- 中文摘要: 本文將探討大眾運輸尖峰價格策略的績效。若目前均一價格政策的票價及乘客數為已知,究竟實施尖峰價格策略後會產生何種影響?本研究在平均價格相等的假設基礎上,進行比較分析新價格策略實施後對總乘客數,營運收益及消費者剩餘是否會增加或減少。本研究之方法是使用一簡單的旅運需求函數,以數學推導得到各種情況下的大眾運輸營運績效比較。從得到的結果提出建議,供政府及業者實施尖峰價格制度的參考。
- 英文摘要: This paper examines some properties of transit peak load policy. Given a fare and rider-ship in a simple uniform pricing system, what are the general effects if the fare structure ischanged to peak load pricing? This question may be most easily answered by comparing theresults of such peak load pricing with those of uniform pricing. The comparisons assume thatan uniform fare is set equal to average peak and off-peak fares. Using a simple travel demandmodel, the total ridership, operator revenue, and consumer surplus under peak load pricing areprojected. These projections are then used to evaluate transit operation in different pricingpolicies, and to examine the implications for providing and designing transit services.
