- 中文摘要: The spiral antennas which consist of a perfectly conducting sphere of radius ain the inside and a concentric spherical spiral, conducting only along the direction , of radius b in the outside are studied in details. In particular, the resultsfor the far fields and those for the small antennas under the uniformly excitationalcase are included and discussed. At the small antenna limit it is found that thestate of polarization is specified by the ratio depending onwhether the excitation is at the inner sphere or at the outer spiral surface. Also, aremarkable resonance phenomenon which occurs when (ckb)2 approaches n(n+1) ispointed out. This resonance condition predicts a possibility of producing a verystrong field from a small spiral antenna.
