- 英文摘要: The influence of suspended solid particles on the volumetric mass transfer coefficient in the liquid phase (K/ sub L/A) has been examined experimentally with the absorption of oxygen into slurries of various concentrations and sizes of glass beads and limestone particles using a stirred tank contactor. The value of K/sub L/A first decreases with an increase in solid concentration, and then locally increases in a certain range of the solid concentration. It is considered that the decrease in k/sub L/A is due to a decrease in the value of A and that the increase is mainly due to an increase in the value of k/sub L/. The effect of temperature is considered to be caused mainly by the difference in the diffusivities of oxygen at different temperatures employed in this study.
