- 英文摘要: Factors influencing the reaction of hydrated lime with SO/sub 2/ were studied in this present work by using a differential reactor and a gas mixture of N/sub 2/, SO/sub 2/, and H/sub 2/O under the conditions similar to those in the bag filters of the spray-drying and dry FGD processes. The reaction occurred only at relative humidities greater than 8%. Increasing the relative humidity of the gas significantly increased the reaction rate and final conversion of hydrated lime. Temperature had a mild effect. The reaction depended on the SO/sub 2/ partial pressure when the relative humidity was greater than 30%. The conversion of Ca(OH)/sub 2/ was limited by the formation of an impervious CaSO/sub 3/-(1/2)H/sub 2/O layer on the Ca(OH)/sub 2/ solid surface. For the hydrated lime particles(< 100.mu.m), the intraparticle mass transfer resistance was insignificant. The sulfation of Ca(OH)/sub 2/ could be described by the parabolic rate law.
