The effect of anoxic and anemic hypoxiason the motility of the large intestine wasroentgenologically studied in conscious rats. Itwas found that at 18,000 feet altiuted colonichypermotility was caused, while at 26,000 feetaltitude or hemorrhage there was a decrease incolonic motility effected. The motility of largeintestine was unaffected by hypoxia at 22,000feet altitude.
