- 英文摘要: Trajectories were calculated for particles approaching single fibers placed at right angles to the aerosol stream and an externally applied electric field, taking into account the increase in fluid resistance to the motion of particles in the vicinity of the fiber. The calculated trajectories predict that particles deposit quite evenly over the entire surface of the fiber, from the forward stagnation point to the rear stagnation point. The results of calculations taking into account the increase in fluid resistance are in better agreement with the experimental observations than the calculations without the corrections for fluid resistance.
