- 中文摘要: 人文社會方面的學者與理工學院的學者可謂形成兩個不同的文化集團。本研究的目的是設計一項通識數學課程,以建立兩文化集團間的橋樑。從幾種不同的課程中,我選擇了本課程一以布爾代數的觀點看邏輯。本文討論課程設計、學生回饋、以及幾項設計這類通識數學課程的訣竅。
- 英文摘要: The purpose of this study is to design and investigate a general educational math-ematics course to bridge between humanities and social science scholars on one hand,and natural scientists and engineers on the other. From several possible courses, Ifinally selected one on logic from the point of view of Boolean algebra. I discuss thesyllabus, student feedback, and also give a few guidelines for designing general educa-tional courses in mathematics.
