- 英文摘要: Fault-dynamic modeling has been developed for analysis of a plugging pipeline containing naphthalene. Traditional fault-tree analysis is used to determine the combinations of component failures that can lead to a line- plugging condition. A time-dependent model is then used to calculate the time available for corrective action once the upset has started. The result of the analysis shows the time required for the solidification starting to occur is about 1.9 hours at an ambient temperature of 0.degree.C and about 2.5 hours at an ambient temperature of 30.degree.C.
