溫度與澱紛對氧化鈣膠懸物去除動力模式影響之研究

臺灣東部蘊藏白雲礦及石灰岩億兆噸,內含氧化鎂、氧化鈣,業已大量開採供應國內外製鋼、玻璃及水泥製造的原料。因此由白雲礦及石灰岩系列工業所排廢水含有氧化鎂氧化鈣等膠懸物,硬化水質,極須消除。本研究以硫酸鋁藉杯瓶實驗應用三種等溫膠凝完成溫度對氧化鈣膠懸物的影響實驗,並求出其動力常數、淨化常數、淨化能與溫差升降20°C硫酸鋁用量增減74%。氧化鈣膠懸物不加澱粉以95mg/gmCaO硫酸鋁在25°C膠凝,其去除率可達到95.7%,耗時650秒及淨化能10,461Cal/g-mol;氧化鈣膠懸物加澱粉 5mg/gmCaO 在 25°C 以 21mg/gmCaO 硫酸鋁膠凝可以達成不加澱粉 95mg/gmCaO 硫酸鋁膠凝相同的去除率使硫酸鋁用量節省72%。本研究結果可預測白雲礦或石灰岩系列工業廢水去除動力模式所需單一氧化鈣膠懸物的去除動力模式。

In eastern part of Taiwan, theredeposit billion tons of dolomite andlimestone which contains MgO andCaO. Industries which use thesedolomite and lime stone as startingmaterials are those of steel mills, glassmanufacturers and cement. The majorcompositions of waste waters from thesaid industries are MgO and CaOsuspensions. Their flocculations wereinvestigated. Jar test experimentswere conducted by using alum as theflocculant to perform 3 isothermal floc-culations. As starch is also used in theflocculation, its influence was significanton the flocculations of calcium oxidesuspunsions. The amount of alumrequired can be reduced by 72% byusing starch 8.3% of the total amountof solids in the suspension. The effectof lower temperature flocculation ismore evident than that of higher tem-perature. As temperatune increasesby 20°C, the amount of alum used in-creases by 74% to maintain a sameweight fraction of solids remainingsuspended. The equilibrium conditionsfor a rate of 96.7% of solids removedare as follows, =0.033, T=25°C,△G=10,462 cal/g-mol.
