由參變不穩波的激起所引起輸入波振幅的減低

本文導出三個聯立微分方程式,用來討論被激起的參變不穩波(Parametric Instabilities)的非線性發展,此處所討論的不穩波是由輸入的電磁波(Pump)經由參變方法(Parametric Coupling)所激起的。當被激起的不穩波振幅超過了一定程度,電磁波所攜帶能量的輸入速率變得不敷應付不穩波所能吸收能量的速率,輸入波的振幅因此減低,連帶著的是不穩波也終於達到了飽和穩定狀態。本文導出最大能量輸入率和輸入電磁波的被吸收係數。此外,藉著數值解析方法來計算不穩波隨時間的關係和輸入電磁波被電漿吸收的反常係數(Anomalous Absorption Coefficient)也都包括在本文中。

Three wave-coupled equations for nonlinear evlution of the electron-ion parametric decay instabili-ties excited by elecromagentic pump waves are presented. When decay waves exceed certain levels, powerinflux can no longer balance energy extracted by the instabilities. The pump field is then depleted andinstabilities eventually reach saturated steady state. Maximum power influx and pump absorption coef-ficient are derved. Numerical calculations for the time evolution of the waves and the anomalous absorp-tion coefficient are presented.
