- 英文摘要: In studing the effect of anaerobiosis onthe production of ethanol by Zymomonasmobilis. ATCC 29191, it was found that theethanol yield was in an order of shakenculture in the air>static culture in the air>static culture in nitrogen> static culture inIt indicates that strain ATCC 29191 isa facultatively anaerobic organism and alimited amount of oxygen is required toenhence the cell growth. Simultaneous aeration and agitation in ajar fermentor would reduce ethanol yield andspecific ethanol production rate, but increasecell yield. With agitation only, 100 g/1 ofethanol was produced in a medium containing23% glucose after 28 hr fermentation, andthe fermentation efficiency was up to 85.38%.
