- 中文摘要: 於國立臺灣大學實驗林溪頭營林區擇定三個不同之試驗林分,以為水文收支之比較研究之用。此等林分分別為:臺灣杉純林,柳杉純林及天然闊葉林。於各試驗林每日測定及自動記錄水文收支之各要素,如林外(P)及林內(Po)之降水量、幹流量(S)、截流量(I)、蒸發量(E)、地面逕流量(R)、滲漏量(△W g)等,並藉此求得土壤水分之變動與蒸散量(△Ws+T): △Ws+T═P-(E+I+R士△Wg) 經長期研究分析結果得知,天然闊葉林與人造針葉林之水文平衡的特性差異甚大,而且水文各要素之時間性與空閒性之分佈亦截然不同(詳見於正文中之總表及收支圖中),此現象清楚證明臺灣山地之上游集水區當其在土地利用及植生狀態改變時,於水文行為上即刻產生極大之反應,對水土資源之保育與開發甚具影響性,實應謹慎規劃及執行。
- 英文摘要: Three different ground covers, i. e. a natural vegetation cover withhardwoods, an artificial cryptomeria (Cryptomeria japonica D. Don.)stand,and an artificial Taiwania ( Taiwania cryptomerioides Hay.)stand areselected within the NTU Chi-tou Experimental Forest. Various hydrologicalcomponents such as precipitation, throughfall, stemflow evaporation,surface runoff, groundwater etc. have been observed and recorded. Thebiomass of vegetation and trees has also been measured and recorded byproper instruments and methods. The data obtained were intensively studiedand analyzed, so that the characteristics of various water budget compone-ents have been well understood.
