活化胜?。 - 英文摘要: An endogenous pepsin inhibitor was found to exist in the extract of frog esophagus. The inhibitorwas closely associated with the frog pepsinogen. Both were readily inactivated by heating at 65℃ and wereinseparable by chromatography on phosphocellulose, DEAE-cellulose, hydroxylapatite and Sephadex G-75.When frog pepsinogen was purified to homogeneity as judged by gel electrophoresis in the presence ofsodium dodecyl sulfate, the inhibitor remained associated. Whereas activation at pH 2 for 10 min at 25℃converted frog pepsinogen to pepsin, a considerable amount of inhibitory substance was produced in thetrichloroacetic acid-soluble fraction of the activation mixture. The inhibitory substance thus obtained wasstable at 65℃, but lost 50% of its inhibitory activity in 2 min at 95℃. These results seem to suggest thatthe inhibitor found in the extract of frog esophagus may be accounted for by an activation peptide or ac-tivation fragments of frog pepsinogen.
