- 英文摘要: The stability analysis for two consecutive flow sections that occurring in the slot coating processes is performed in this work. The mechanism for linear interfacial stability and the consequence of competition between mechanisms, due to viscosity and elasticity difference across the interface, have been proposed and identified. Based on the proposed stability mechanism, we may illustrate the discrepancy of interfacial stability characteristics between two consecutive flow sections. Our results show that common stability operating windows are obtainable if an appropriate arrangement of rheological properties and geometric factors is made.
