- 中文摘要: 經冷藏之馬鈴薯種薯,在10℃空氣中貯存24~44天,由其萌芽、醣類累積及澱粉消耗情形,可見種薯具有良好的代謝活性,此種種薯因已開始萌芽,其幼薯初期生長快速,而致最終產量高於冷藏(3℃) O。室溫及冷藏(3℃)空氣中貯存,代謝受到抑制,使初期生長較緩慢。10℃氮氣中貯存過久(24天以上),亦有抑制代謝的現象。在室溫氮氣中貯存,可促發黑心病,終至腐爛。本研究結果指出,馬鈴薯種植前,在10℃或室溫貯存40-50天,促使少量萌芽,在生理上並無不良影響,其後之生長及產量均不遜於將種薯冷藏至種植前者。
- 英文摘要: The cultivation of potato in central Taiwanutilizes the 90-day winter period between thesecond and the first rice crops. Potato seedtubers were kept refrigerated after harvest, inFebruary, until planting in October. This studyshowed that potato seed tubers stored in 10℃in air for 24 to 44 days prior to planting main-tained a fairly active metabolism as judged fromsugar accumulation and starch degradation duringstorage. They produced small amount of sprout-ing which speeded the growth of young plantsand eventually gave a higher yield than plantsfrom conventionally refrigerated seed tubers.Storage under room temperature or 3℃ in aircaused retardation of metabolic processes and,hence, hindered the growth of young potato plantas compared to the tubers stored under 10℃in air. There were indications that longer (morethan 24 days) storage under 10℃ in nitrogenhad some inhibitive effect. Seed tubers kept innitrogen under room temperature developed black-heart and rotted in less than 2 weeks. Theseresults indicated that seed tubers kept for 40 to50 days under 10℃ or room temperature in aircaused no ill effect, would produce healthyseedlings and gave at least the same yield aspotato plants from seed tubers kept refrigerateduntil planting.
