- 中文摘要: 光暈法是一種研究應力集中場的良好實驗技術,尤其是對於破裂問題的應力奇異場。然而光暈法的準確性係決定於模型材料之應力光學常數量測的準確程度。在現有文獻中有兩種試片使用光暈法來量取應力光學常數,一為含圓孔的平板,一為含裂縫的平板。 在本文中,一種結合傳統光暈法和數位影像處理技術的數位光暈法被用於量測應力光學常數,為了分析光暈影像,在自有的影像處理系統上開發了一系列電腦程式。本文中重新檢討前述兩種量取應力光學常數試片的量測過程,並提出如何使用光暈法精確的量測應力光學常數的建議。
- 英文摘要: The method of caustics is an excellent experimental technique in studying the stress concentrationfield, especially the singular stress field in fracture problems. However, its accuracy depends on how ac-curately the stress-optical constants (SOCs) of the model materials are determined. In the literature, twokinds of specimens, i.e., plates containing either a circular hole or a crack, have been used to measure SOCsby the method of caustics. In this paper, the digital caustic method, i.e., an integration of the classical caustic method and thedigital image processing technique, was used to determine SOCs. A series of computer programs was devel-oped on a locally supported image processing system to analyze the images of the caustics. Thetest procedures of using the two previously mentioned specimens were re-examined. Suggestions are madeabout how SOCs can be accurately measured by the method of caustics.
