- 英文摘要: SC4 antibiotic produced by Streptomyces SC4 consists of at least eight ninhydrinpositive compounds and a basic moiety which bears guanidinium group. Six of theeight ninhydrin positive compounds were identified as glycine, alanine, serine,lysine, histidine and proline. The other two compounds were unidentified. Size of the antibiotic is relatively small and the antibiotic activity was notsignificantly affected by pronase, trypsin, pepsin and papain. The antibiotic wasstable in neutral and acidic solutions, while it was labile in alkaline solution.
