- 中文摘要: 本文比較研究三種穩定內鏡式雙縱向模氦氖雷射頻率及輸出功率的簡單方法。在這些方法中,雷射之穩定都是由保持其共振腔長度為一定值而達到的。用以補償共振腔熱脹冷縮的回饋訊號分別為(1)雙模(其偏光方向互相垂直)光強差度,(2)雷射高反射率鏡端輸出光總功率及(3)雷射高反射率鏡端輸出其中一模的輸出功率。這是方法(3)實驗結果的首度報導。我們提出使用這三種方法穩定雷射頻率及輸出功率的結果;根據雷射頻率及功率變化的物理機構從事一定性分析,以了解其優劣點及限制。
- 英文摘要: In this paper, we present results of our comparative study on three simple schemes for frequency andamplitude stabilization of internal-mirror He-Ne lasers oscillating in two axial modes. In these methods,laser stabilization is achieved by maintaining the laser cavity length approximately a constant. The feed-back signals used to compensate thermal dilation of the laser tube are respectively: (i) the difference inintensities of the two orthogonally polarized modes, (ii) the total laser back beam intensity and (iii) theintensity of one of the axial modes. This is the first experimental demonstration of method (iii). Stabiliza-tion results by the three methods are presented. A qualitative analysis based on physical mechanisms forlaser frequency and amplitude fluctuations facilitates understanding of their merits and limitations.
