- 英文摘要: The aim of the present study was to determine if excita-tory synaptic transmission onto trigeminal motoneuronsis subject to a presynaptic modulation by -aminobutyricacid (GABA) via GABA receptor in this system. Wholecell recordings were made from trigeminal motoneuronsin longitudinal brain stem slices taken from 8-day-oldrats. Monosynaptic excitatory postsynaptic potential(EPSP) activity was evoked by placing bipolar stainlesssteel electrodes dorsal-caudal to the trigeminal motornucleus. Bath application of the GABA receptor agonist, baclofen, produced a marked reduction in the meanamplitude and variance of evoked EPSPs and also in-creased the portion of transmission failures. It also pro-duced a decrease in the frequency, but not in the meanamplitude, of spontaneous miniature EPSPs. Bath appli-cation of GABA receptor antagonists 6-hydroxy-saclo-fen and CGP35348 increased both the amplitude and fre-quency of miniature EPSP activity. Taken together theabove results suggest that the excitatory synaptic inputsonto trigeminal motoneurons are controlled by tonic pre-synaptic modulation by GABA receptor.
