- 英文摘要: The subject of investigation in this paper is discharge estimation in flow measurement flumes ofrectangular compound cross sections with different downstream expansions. The effect of downstreamexpansion on the values of the discharge coefficient, and approach velocity coefficient, has beenstudied. General equations for and have been found as a function of relevant parameters. By usingthese general equations, one can estimate the flow discharge of a flume when the head value, overthe crest elevation is given with an absolute error of 4%. Head-Discharge equations for asymmetricalflow measurement flumes of compound cross sections have been derived and the final results only arepresented.
