生物流動床系統處理家庭廢水之研究

流動床生物處理系統為新發展之廢水處理技術之一,本研究為操作流動床系統之小型試驗廠,以研究此種方法處理家庭廢水中BOD,及含氮化合物之可行性。據研究結果得知BOD去除,於18分之停留時間,可達90%之去除效果,硝化作用於22分之停留時間,高達99% (方程式無法摘錄) 之去除率,脫氮作用,於6.5分之停留時間,脫氮效率可達98%。因此可知流動床生物系統處理家庭廢水之可行性極高,於不到1小時之處理時間,便可完全去除有機碳及氮,比起活性污泥法之處理時間減少很多,此種處理時間很短之原因,乃由於流動床內有高濃度活性固體,及極大的生物膜表面積,進行高速率之生物分解所致。與活性污泥法所做經濟比較之結果,得知流動床生物處理系統不論在投資成本,土地面積及操作維持費上均比活性污泥法便宜,其投資成本約為活性污泥法之37%,土地面積為活性污泥法之6%,操作維持費約可減少一半。

Three pilot plant of biologically fluidizedbed system has been used for the treatment ofmunicipal wastewater to removal BOD andnitrogen compound. The results obtained withthe BOD removal unit show that 90% BODremoval is possible in a detention time of 18minutes. Ninty-min percent of (方程式無法摘錄) removalwas obtained in a detention of 22 minutes in anitrification unit. (方程式無法摘錄) removal efficiency isabout 98% in a detention time of only 6.5 mi-nutes. The results demonstrate conclusively thefeasibility of fluidized bed technology for usein minicipal wastewater treatment application.Complete carbon and nitrogen removal was ob-tanied in less than one hour. From comparingprocess study and economic analysis with con-ventional treament process, it shows that thebiologically fludized bed system is accomplishedin significantly less space and time which canbe translated into less cost than conventionaltreatment. The reason for this saving in space,cost and treatment time is that the concentrationand surface area of active biomass in the flui-dized bed system is far greater than conventionaltreatment system.
