- 中文摘要: 基隆市三面環山一面臨海,平地有限、人口不斷增加,新社區遂發展到不安全的地區。由於地形、地質、氣象、與工程標準等四個因素的聯合作用,近年來基隆市崩山、基盤蠕動引起的房屋龜裂、洪水等地質危險災害時有所聞,財產損失不貲。據本研究之分析,本市之社區自地形、地質觀點可分為下列八種:1平地2山谷低地3傾斜坡4整平傾斜坡5陡坡6淺谷頭整坡地7緩坡地8煤渣堆積區;每一區都有其特定的環境地質問題。治標方面可根據其地質條件設計各種保護工事;治本方面則須擬訂妥善的山坡開發規範,以保障財產、生命之安全。 從工程地質的觀點來看,基隆市的地形可分成五區,即?積層及河階臺地2低傾斜坡陵地3單傾斜丘陵地4緩傾斜豚背狀山區5高傾斜山區。其中唯前三種地形可供社區發展之用。且大都在港口集水區內。目前其開發程度己接近其極限,故未來社區應在基隆河集水區內尋求。 最後,基隆皇帝殿海岸地質景觀至為優美,可開闢為觀光區;本市之地質構造也有發現壓力地下水之希望。
- 英文摘要: The natural conditions of the harbor watershed of Keelung City havebeen Jeopardized in recent years as a result of inadequate utilization ofhillside terrain due to rapid urbanization. Property damage caused by land-slides during heavy rain fall and, less frequently, triggered by earthquakeis considerable. In the present study, the whole situation is reviewed from environmen-tal geological viewpoint, and the engineering geological characteristies ofeach type of hillside settlements,【classified according to geological andgeographical ccnditions, are discussed in detail. It is strongly recommendedin this report that in order to ensure safety the geological conditions】of theterrain to be developed for a new settlement should be taken into accountat the planning stage and a practicable code for hillside excavation andconstruction should be made and see it to be exactly followed. Apart from the engineering geological problems, the potentiality forfurther urbanization in the harbor watershed, exploration of water re-sources and development of coastal terrain with natural beauty for recreationpurpose are also reviewed in the light of the geological data obtained inthe present study.
