- 中文摘要: 本試驗乃是尋求柳安廢材製漿造紙之可能性,以解決日益嚴重之原料不足問題。報告中曾分別就五種試材心材與邊材之纖維形態及化學組成,以及硫酸鹽法單一樹種製漿之性質加以檢討,另外對硫酸鹽法混合製漿及造紙以及中性亞硫酸鈉半化學法混合製漿之品質加以討論。單一樹種硫酸鹽木漿之收率及品質,以Nyatoh及White Seraya為最好,心材僅收率較邊材低,其他性質沒有什麼差異。混合樹種硫酸鹽木漿之收率及品質,與一般闊葉樹相似。混合樹種中性亞硫酸鈉半化學木漿之品質,與一般闊葉樹接近,可以供做製造瓦楞蕊紙之原料。抄製印書紙及包裝紙,品質甚好,優於一般甘蔗漿。因而可證明,利用柳安廢材可以成功的用做製漿造紙之用。
- 英文摘要: The purpose of this experiment is to investigate the possibility of using Lauanwaste to make pulp and paper for solving the shortage of raw matexial faced bythe paper industry. The fiber morphology and chemical compostion, the kraft pulp properties ofouterwood and corewood from each species, the kraft pulp and NSSC pulp propertiesof Lauan mixtures, and together with the paper qualities from the mixtures, aradiscussed. Kraft pulps produced from Nyatoh and White seraya were found to be the bestspecies in this experiment, pulp yields of corewood are lower than the outerwood inthe same species, but their pulp strengths have no big differences. Properties ofkraft pulps produced from this Lauan mixtures were similar to the conventionalhardwoods. The NSSC pulp properties are also like the conventional hardwoods, itcan be used as a good raw material to make corrugating medium. A good-qualitykraft pulp prepared from this mixtures was demonstrated to be suitable for making good printing and wrapping papers which are better than the papers made frombagasse pulps. This experiment confirms that Lauan waste can be converted intocommercially acceptable paper products.
