- 中文摘要: Since oxine-sulfonic acid complex of lanthanum is much less complex than that of tetravalent cerium, by moderate heating of the mixed solution with sodium carbonate in excess, the lanthanum complex ion breaks down and precipitates quantitatively as carbonate, which is nearly insoluble in excess of sodium carbonate solution. The cerium complex ion, on the contrary, remains in the solution without decomposition.
