- 中文摘要: 自Streptomyces nodosus,IMRU 3694菌株的突變中選出一株優良變種,定名為Streptomyces nodosus, NDMC-034,此變種的特性是產生芽胞的能力減低,失去產生黑色素(Melanoid pigment)的能力,並且在28℃培養時,其產生am-photericin A的能力增加。相反地,如在32℃培養則其amphotericin A的生產能力降低而amphotericin B的產量反而增加一倍,因此,其amphotericins的生物合成可以培養溫度加以控制。 另自Streptomyces griseus, IMRU 3570菌株的突變中分離出一株特殊的變種,其特性是幾乎完全失去生產candi-cidin的能力但其生長不受影響。證明candicidin的生合成與菌種的生長無直接關係。所有選出之變種皆以Auxanography的方法測其對生長因素的需求特性。
- 英文摘要: A novel mutant strain designated as Streptomyces nodosus, NDMC-034 was selected from the muta-tion of Streptomyces nodosus, IMRU 3694. This mutant was characterized by delayed sporulation, theincapability of producing the melanoid pigment either in the production medium or on YD agar containing1% yeast extract and 1% dextrose, and the increased yield of amphotericin A as compared to its parentstrain. In addition, the biosynthesis of amphotericin A by this mutant seems to be sensitive to temperature.When the incubation temperature was raised to 32℃, the yield of amphotericin A was dramatically decreas-ed; in contrast, the yield of amphotericin B was greatly increased as compared to that at 28℃. Another unique mutant strain designated as Streptomyces griseus, YT-1 was selected from the muta-tion of Streptomyces griseus, IMRU 3570. It was characterized by the incapability of synthesizing candici-din and the delayed sporulation. All the mutants were auxanographed and characterized by the requirement for growth factor.
