綠膿桿菌之研究(一)綠膿桿菌素分型

綠膿桿菌所產生之綠膿桿菌素,係一穩定性基因特徵。選出適合之標示菌株使用標準方法分型,對任何標示菌株顯示不變之反應,為臨床上及流行病學研究上之重要工具。 1975年7月至1976年6月曾由臺大醫院、榮民總醫院及馬偕醫院共收集綠膿桿菌1,003株,進行生化學研究。利用 Alabama 16 株標示菌分型時,所有分型菌株中,882株 (87.9%)可定其型別,具有多種不同之分型式樣 (Pattern),並可將臺灣北部之綠膿桿菌分為32種常見綠膿桿菌素型。由常見菌株中可進一步選出優良菌種,用以製造是種疫苗、毒素及抗毒素。

Pyocine produced by Ps. aeruginosa appearsto be of a stable genetic characteristic. Selectedindicator strains have shown a reproduciblereaction to any given pyocine by a standardizedmethod and testing. It should be possible todevelop a definitive type of all strains of Ps.aeruginosa for clinical investigation and epidemi-ological research. From July 1965 to June 1966, one thousandand three strains of Ps. aeruginosa were studiedfor biochemical characteristics and pyocinetyping against Alabama 16 indicator strains.Among these strains tested eight hundred andeighty-two could be typed; the patterns weremultiple and variable; and 32 common patternswere detected. These strains in special patternscould be used for selection of good strains forvaccine, toxin and antitoxin preparations.
