- 英文摘要: A well-defined single jet through-hole system, which represents a special case of impinging fluid jets, is selected for examining the impact of periodic electrolysis on current distribution. A mathematical model, as well as a numerical scheme is developed on the basis of the concept of streamline grid mesh. Theoretical calculations are performed under direct current (DC) and periodic- reverse(PR) conditions. Applying PR technique is demonstrated by the results to only be effective for a through-hole with low or medium aspect ratio (AR). A high-AR through-hole exhibits characteristics that ohmic resistance rather than mass transfer imposes a critical limitation. An impingement technique will likely not become a feasible alternative under such circumstances even in conjunction with PR potentials.
